Beaudesert Store Sale – 22nd February 2020

Agents Bartholomew & Co reported a very dear market for all descriptions at their Beaudesert Store Sale on Saturday.  Pens of feeder steers met strong competition, as did quality lines of backgrounder steers and heifers.  Weaners were in demand, with plenty of would-be buyers going home without cattle.
Tin Horse Pty Ltd, Mt Lindesay topped the sale with three pens of Euro x steers 2½ years selling for $1,920.  Santa x steers 15 months account Mt Maroon Grazing sold for $1,370. Charbray steers 15 months account Paul Hart, Pine Mountain sold for $1,350.  M & M Platell Farming Co, Josephville sold Droughtmaster steers 12 months for $1,170.  Limousin steers 12 months from Farmco, Cryna sold for $1,140.  Carolyn Burgess, Purga sold Droughtmaster steers 12 months for $1,100.  Droughtmaster steers 12 months account Craig Redgwell, Tarampa sold for $1,030.  Jenoff Pty Ltd, Christmas Creek sold Charbray steers 12 months for $960.  Brahman weaner steers account Liam Gill, Birnam sold for $855.  Emily Reilly, Bromelton sold Brangus steers 12 months for $840.  Shannon White, Veresdale sold Droughtmaster steers 12 months for $880.  Jenoff Pty Ltd sold Charbray heifers 15 months for $1,080.  Limousin x heifers from the Trace Family, Chambers Flat sold for $1,035.  Sally Palfery, Wivenhoe Pocket sold Droughtmaster x heifers 15 months for $865.  Square Meater heifers account Wendy Duke, Logan Village sold for $795.  Droughtmaster cows account Sandamara Pastoral, Darlington sold for $1,690.  Tom Clark, Marburg sold Charolais x cows and calves for $1,760.  ATSH Pty Ltd, Mt Lindesay sold Droughtmaster cows and calves for $1,490.
The next Beaudesert Sale is the Annual All Red Show & Sale, which will be held on Saturday 29th February with a presentation at 9:30am and the sale to follow at 10am.
