Beaudesert Store Sale – 25th January 2020

The market rose for all descriptions at Bartholomew & Co’s Beaudesert Store Sale on Saturday 25th January.  Quality lines of grown steers and heifers sold to hot competition from both grass fatteners and lot feeders.  Weaner steers and heifers sold high above vendors’ expectations.  Welcome rain across most parts of the South East corner saw plenty of potential buyers go home without cattle.
McVilly and Pitts, Aratula sold Santa steers 2 years for $1,405.  Euro x steers 15 months account Mitchell Freiberg, Bunjurgen sold for $1,170.  Andrew and Jill Stallman, Fernvale sold Charolais x steers 14 months for $1,075.  Frank and Joan Hester, Tabragalba sold Santa x weaner steers for $710.  Euro x steers 14 months account Liam Gill, Birnam sold for $830.  Betty Zabinski, Beechmont sold Angus x weaner steers for $500.  Angus light weaner steers account Palms Trading, Mount Tamborine sold for $415.  Glenapp Pastoral, Running Creek sold an outstanding line of 25 Angus and Droughtmaster feeder heifers topping at $1,170 to average $1,130.  Euro x heifers account Michael Anderson, Witheren sold for $725.  Liam Gill sold Charbray heifers 14 months for $785.  Palms Trading sold Angus heifers 15 months for $790 and weaner heifers for $525.  Frank and Joan Hester, Tabragalba sold Santa x weaner heifers for $570.  Nicole Jovanovic, Milbong sold Angus and Droughtmaster weaner heifers for $430.  Angus cows account Pams Trading sold for $1,405.  Palms Trading also sold Angus cows and calves for $940.  Betty Zabinski, Beechmont sold Brangus cows for $880.  Red Brahman bulls from GMP Nominees sold to $2,050.
