The market was firm to slightly dearer for most descriptions with some plainer lines just off-pace. 807 head of cattle were yarded at our 15th Annual All Red Show & Sale on Saturday.  A magnificent yarding of predominantly Droughtmaster and Santa Gertrudis cattle came to hand and sold to a very buoyant market.  Pen after pen of heavy feeder steers generated hot competition, as did quality backgrounders and weaners.  An outstanding run of heifers sold extremely well to both breeder and feeder buyers.

Toby and Simmone Ludwig, representing the Hills Family, were presented with first and second prize for export steers by sponsor Dean Zurvas of GWT Earthmoving.
Sponsor Cameron Coutts of Moovin’ Stock presented Hannah Kleinschmidt with first and second prize for both weaner steers and weaner heifers.
Geneveive and Graham Isbell were awarded second prize in the breeder class, presented by sponsor Tamara Barnes of Williams Transport.
Rob Greer of Crystal Park Stud won first prize in the feeder heifer class.

As the dry weather continues, so does the flow of cattle, creating some good buying opportunities. A large number of 12 to 15 month old steers came to hand, generating competition from both local and travelled buyers.
